Who I am

Born and raised in Ottawa, I relocated to Vancouver in order to pursue my passion of video games.  I've been working in the game industry since 2013, and it's simply too much fun to ever do anything else.  The lighthearted and creative atmosphere of the video game industry is my second favourite aspect of it - my first being that it is socially acceptable to sport a hefty beard and the general appearance of a lumberjack.

I'm passionate about level design in any capacity, and I take great pride in my ability to seek feedback and iterate my work to be the best it can be.  I love everything about level design, but puzzles and narrative driven experiences is the peanut butter to my chocolate.

Growing up, I was always playing any video game I could get my hands on.  But I also spent a lot of time playing bass in various bands, breaking bones skateboarding or snowboarding, and watching playoff hockey.  These days, when I'm not busy making terrible puns, I can usually be found cooking, listening to heavy music while completing real-life fetch quests, or watching cartoons.
